SHERMAN ARCHITECTS is a full-service architecture firm based in Brooklyn, NY.  Jeff Sherman founded his architectural practice in 1995.  

We specialize in modern additions to historic buildings.  To that end we are experts at navigating the Landmarks Preservation Commission and obtaining approvals in landmarked districts. 

Our brownstone restorations, loft combinations, and additions to row houses have garnered numerous awards and wide publication in books, magazines, and online journals.  The firm’s diverse portfolio combines clean, understated detail with careful space planning to create extraordinary spaces. 

By coupling elegant minimalism with traditional materials, our work has a sense of inevitability. Our designs feel as though they have always belonged to their sites.
