The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and Global Design News have singled out Sherman Architects for their 2025 Future House Award.

This year’s award goes to this Ft. Greene brownstone for our period restoration of its landmark facade combined with our radical reinvention of its interior.  The kitchen overlooks a double-height living room with book shelves two stories high. The glass rear wall fully retracts to open the house to the back yard.  And a high catwalk leads to a children’s reading nook with a window seat perched over the garden.
